about

Michael V. Farley, whose work under the name "the beige channel," has received positive attention in The Wire magazine, and ParisTransatlantic, diverted techniques from his more experimental work into this project, The Ephemera Design Firm, as melodic, instrumental post-rock, with a prominent role for electric guitar.

"Quatrafoil," a 4-movement "symphony" for laptop and guitar, and the centerpiece of his CD of the same name, is inspired by Medieval and Renaissance music, Microhouse, and Pop.
